Sagwa is a Siamese kitten. She lives in China with her cat family.
They live together with a human family, the Foolish Magistrate,
Tai-Tai, and their daughters. The cats are taught to write and
record official documents for the Foolish Magistrate. Sometimes,
they change the rules so nicer people aren't hurt.
Sagwa and her family look at life and the world around them
differently than the human family. The human family is spoiled
and arrogant. Sagwa shows you the world through her eyes, the
eyes of a cat. To her, these humans are silly and mean-spirited.
She shows you Chinese life as it was 100 years ago.
